What a year for running in Salina!

81 Connection public forums

What a year for running in Salina! Thank you to everyone who helped get the word out about Salina races. Five of the six races in the Run Salina Series broke their previous registration records and the sixth had its second highest registration total ever. Three races exceeded 1000 registered participants. (Prior to 2025 the Salina Crossroads Marathon was the only Salina race to do this). And I think there are a couple more races that can hit the 1000 mark in 2026.

Over 150 participants completed the Run Salina Series challenge this first year! Runners who completed the Run Salina Series Challenge (participating in four of the six races) can email runsalinacrossroads@gmail.com with a list of races completed and Run Salina Series shirt size needed. The Run Salina Series planning committee will be meeting in early December to plan a couple of potential pick up dates/locations. That information will be emailed out and also posted on Facebook. The Run Salina Series planning committee looks forward to continuing to grow Salina races in 2026.
